The R.W. Provincial Grand Master Bro. Peter Connolly accompanied by Mark Masons and their wives from the Garston / Liverpool area made the official presentation of a cheque for £ 4115.00 to the Acorn Venture Farm in Kirkby, on the outskirts of Liverpool.

The money was part of the proceeds from this year's “Mark Weekend” which was held last February in Llandudno. Mark Masons and their wives together guests totalled in excess of 160.

The organisers W. Bro's. Colin Svenson and Tom McLoughlin are to be congratulated on their part in providing a successful and enjoyable event in the name of Mark Charity.

The Acorn Farm is a working farm where young people, particularly those with special needs can meet the farm animals, feed and stroke them. There is also horse riding for the disabled. Perfect for a family day out.
